MARCH 26, 2012 – The Department of Education’s proposal for Manhattan Charter School 2 to be located at 220 Henry Street has been approved by the Panel for Education Policy. The vote followed a 45-day public review period, as required by law.
MCS2 will be a second site of MCS, opening in fall 2012. MCS2 will begin with a Kindergarten and First Grade comprised of 96 children and grow by one grade each year until the school serves students in Kindergarten through Fifth grade. MCS2 is currently accepting applications for Kindergarten and Grade One for 2012-13 school year admissions.
